Frequently Asked Questions
How EventReps works
Straight answers about the Readiness, Generation, and Realization system, the PITCH Score framework, and what it's actually like to work with EventReps before, during, and after your event.
One system, three phases
Every EventReps engagement runs through the same rhythm, in order. It's the backbone of everything below.
Get ready
Sales training, talk tracks, pre-event outreach, and meeting-setting so your team walks onto the floor prepared, not improvising.
Work the floor
Boots on the ground at the show. Qualifying conversations, scoring leads in real time with PITCH Score, and tiering who gets what follow-up.
Turn it into pipeline
Handoff of a tiered lead list and drafted follow-up, then advisory support until your sequences are complete.
General
What is EventReps?
EventReps builds qualified B2B pipeline end-to-end: pre-event outreach, readiness training, real-time badge scanning and lead scoring on the floor with PITCH Score, and post-event follow-up sequencing. We help exhibiting teams turn events they already pay for into predictable pipeline instead of a spreadsheet of cold leads.
We're based in Brooklyn, NY, and founded by people who've actually worked the floor.
Who is EventReps for?
B2B teams who exhibit at trade shows and conferences and want that time on the floor to produce more than a stack of unqualified badge scans. That includes marketing teams running the event, sales reps staffing the booth, and founders doing both.
Is EventReps a staffing agency, or a booth-hire service?
No. We don't supply generic booth staff to hand out swag. We build the pre-show, on-floor, and post-show system, train and support your team inside it, and give you the software (PITCH Score) to run it, so the conversations at your booth get scored, tiered, and followed up on with intent.
Is EventReps veteran-owned?
Yes. EventReps was founded by a military veteran, and that shapes how we approach the floor: prepare before you show up, execute the plan, and debrief honestly on what actually happened.
The System
What happens during Readiness?
Readiness is everything that happens before your team steps onto the show floor: sales training tailored to your product and audience, talk tracks your reps can actually use in a short booth conversation, pre-event outreach, and help booking meetings with target accounts before the show even opens.
What happens during Generation?
This is the show itself. Boots on the ground, qualifying conversations as they happen, and scoring every lead against the PITCH framework in real time using the PITCH Score badge scanner, so nobody's guessing who to call first once the floor closes.
What happens during Realization?
After the show, you get a tiered A/B/C lead log, drafted follow-up sequences ready to review, and a coverage view against your target accounts. From there, EventReps advises your team through execution until the sequences are complete.
Does EventReps send my follow-up emails and calls for me?
No. EventReps is a consulting and enablement system, not an outreach execution service. Realization gives you the tiered list and drafted sequences; your own team reviews and sends them. PITCH Score can auto-generate the drafts, but a human on your side always stays in control of what actually goes out.
PITCH Score
What is the PITCH framework?
PITCH is our qualification methodology for scoring a booth conversation in the moment, across five dimensions, each rated 1 to 5:
- Persona — how closely this person matches your ideal buyer profile
- Intent — problem awareness and active buying signals
- Timeline — how soon this could realistically convert
- Clout — decision-making power inside their organization
- Heat — the overall urgency and energy of the conversation itself
The five scores add up to a maximum of 25 points, and that total sorts each lead into a tier: A, B, or C.
What is PITCH Score, and how does it relate to EventReps?
PITCH Score is our badge scanner software: it runs the PITCH framework live on the show floor, scans a badge or card, captures notes, scores the conversation, and tiers the lead automatically. It's built directly into every EventReps engagement, and it's also available on its own.
See the full PITCH Score FAQ for details on scoring, integrations, and pricing.
Do I need EventReps consulting to use PITCH Score, or vice versa?
No. PITCH Score works as a standalone tool starting at $300/year per seat, and you can start free with no credit card required. That said, teams that pair the software with EventReps' full Readiness-Generation-Realization system tend to get the most out of it, since the framework works best when reps are actually trained on how to score in the moment.
Working Together
What size companies does EventReps work best with?
EventReps works with B2B teams of any size that exhibit at trade shows and rely on those events as a real pipeline source, from founder-led startups working their first booth to established teams sending several reps to multiple shows a year. What matters more than headcount is whether your events are meant to generate real pipeline, not just brand presence.
Do I need to already be exhibiting at a show to start?
No. Readiness work, sales training, talk tracks, and pre-event outreach guidance can start well before you've locked in a specific show, and it's often most valuable with enough runway to train your team and book meetings ahead of time.
How much does it cost to work with EventReps?
It depends on the scope of the engagement: how many events, how much Readiness support, and whether you need reps on the floor for Generation. PITCH Score itself starts at $300/year per seat with a free way to start. The clearest way to get a real number is an Event Audit or Strategy Session, which we offer as a starting point for any new client.
How do I get started?
Reach out and tell us about your next show, or what's not working about your current process. We offer Event Audits, Strategy Sessions, and general consultations to figure out where Readiness, Generation, or Realization support would move the needle most, then scope an engagement from there.
Have a question we didn't cover?
Tell us about your next show and your current process. We'll tell you honestly where we can help.
